Overview

Bob is a partner in the Intellectual Property practice group with extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting U.S. patent applications for domestic and international clients in the chemical, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical fields. Bob assists clients in obtaining the global patent protection appropriate for their business interests. He also provides strategic counsel on patentability, validity, patent term extension, and clearance matters, ensuring protection and defense of intellectual property.

Bob’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of technologies, including pharmaceutical formulations, medical devices, polymers, food compositions, antibodies, vaccines, nanotechnologies, diagnostic agents, cosmetic compositions, lipid technologies, resin compositions, and more.

Bob was a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and worked as a Technology Licensing Specialist in the Office of Technology Transfer at the National Institutes of Health.
