The U.S. Export Control Compliance Program

Dixon Miller will present and Sunny Yang will facilitate an SWUPL Club webinar "The U.S. Export Control Compliance Program," on Sunday, Aug. 16. Dixon will discuss how the actions of the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) will have significant implications for U.S. and non-U.S. companies that have business relationships with Huawei and many of its affiliates, identified entities on the Entity List, companies which previously relied upon the CIV license exemption, and other companies that export, re-export, and transfer items intended for military end-use or military end-users. Companies in the export business should be aware of the changes and their implications, and vigorously examine their export compliance program to ensure compliance.
