Porter Wright attorneys C. Terry Johnson, Terrance M. Miller, Jack R. Pigman, and Christopher R. Schraff have been named Best Lawyers' 2010 Lawyers of the Year.
After more than a quarter of a century in publication, Best Lawyers is designating "Lawyers of the Year" in high-profile legal specialties in large legal communities. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is being honored as the "Lawyer of the Year."

"That they have been singled out by other lawyers as the outstanding lawyer in their respective practice areas and communities speaks volumes about the work they have done."
C. Terry Johnson has been named the Best Lawyers' 2010 Dayton, Ohio Trusts and Estates Lawyer of the Year. Mr. Johnson who has been honored by Best Lawyers for more than 20 years focuses his practice on estate planning, trust, and probate law, including multi-state and international estate planning cases; and the administration of numerous estates, including those of investors, authors, owners of closely held businesses, and professionals. He also provides probate litigation representation and frequently serves as special counsel and expert witness in probate matters, including attorney malpractice cases.
Terrance M. Miller has been named the Best Lawyers' 2010 Columbus, Ohio Personal Injury Litigator of the Year. Mr. Miller who has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in Americaฎ every year since 1987 has more than 35 years of experience at both the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts. His practice spans a broad range of cases from complex commercial disputes to professional negligence claims; from intentional tort allegations against employers to product liability lawsuits involving a wide spectrum of different products.
Jack R. Pigman has been named the Best Lawyers' 2010 Columbus, Ohio Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Lawyer of the Year. Mr. Pigman who has been listed in every edition of Best Lawyers focuses his practice on business reorganizations and creditor-debtor rights law, representing debtors, creditor committees, and financial institutions and syndicates in business workouts, loan restructurings and Chapter 11 cases. Mr. Pigman also serves as a mediator in commercial disputes and is a frequent speaker on various insolvency, bankruptcy and lender liability topics.
Christopher R. Schraff has been named the Best Lawyers' 2010 Columbus, Ohio Environmental Lawyer of the Year. Mr. Schraff has litigated a number of civil and criminal environmental matters and has extensive experience negotiating environmental provisions for business purchase agreements, loans, real estate transactions, and other business transactions. His practice includes both energy and environmental matters, with a special interest in the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, CERCLA and RCRA matters, wetlands regulation, pretreatment requirements, state and local environmental statutes and regulations, and the regulatory oversight and approval of electric, gas and other energy facilities. Mr. Schraff has been recognized by Best Lawyers for over 15 years.
